Junior Curator Project

That's My Child is proud to collaborate with the Rosa Parks Museum at Troy University, Junior Curator Program for 2020. The Rosa Parks Museum's Junior Curator program is designed to give students the opportunity to learn about history and art in a hands-on, collaborative way. The ultimate goal is to get students interested in different aspects of museum work.

“The Junior Curator Program is an incredible opportunity for students to have an immersive experience while learning about the museum profession,” Dr. Felicia Bell

This exhibition features Civil Rights era photographs and documents hand selected by students at That's My Child, who wrote labels for each piece. These works are in celebration of Black History Month and depict how the fight for civil rights has evolved over time.
